WARREN CADWALLADER Obituary

WARREN E. CADWALLADER, 84, of Fort Wayne, died on Friday, Aug. 21, 2009, at the VA Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born Dec. 5, 1924, in Paul-ding County, Ohio, son of the late Everett and Myrtle (Munson) Cadwallader, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired from International Harvester in 1982, after 27 years of service. He enjoyed ballroom dancing and was a member of UAW Local 57 and American Legion Post 82. He is survived by many nieces and nephews, who adored him. He was preceded in death by brothers, Harold, Raymond and Donald; and a sister, Dorothy Geyer. Memorial service is 4 p.m. today at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells Street, with visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. prior to the service today. Memorials to Disabled American Veterans.

We are saddened by the death of our good friend. He was always so pleasant to be around - and he had traveled many times to Texas to visit us as well as his relatives. He truly was a good person and had many friends. We will miss him.
