WILLIAM ELLSWORTH Obituary

WILLIAM S. ELLSWORTH, 81, went to his eternal home in heaven on Saturday, March 26, 2022. Bill was born in Cooperstown, N.Y. He was a resident of Fort Wayne for 37 years. Bill was a very faithful and caring man of God. He and his wife Sue, were members of Coventry Baptist Church for 37 years. He was an avid Homestead High School football and basketball fan, and enjoyed his Lionel trains. Bill is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sue S. Ellsworth of Fort Wayne; son, Kipp S. Ellsworth of Tucker, Ga.; daughters, Tami (Chris) Anderson of Alpheretta, Ga., and Tracey (Brad) Champion of Elkhart, Ind.; grandchildren, Brandon Anderson, Brooke Anderson, Nathan Sanderson and Abby Wilber; and many life-long church family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, William S. and Maxine S. Ellsworth; and sister, Joanne Jummonville. Bill's Home Going Celebration is 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2022, at Coventry Baptist Church, 10926 Aboite Center Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Dr. John L. Blair officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers, make donations to Lewy Body Dementia Society Research. To sign the online guestbook, visit www.mccombandsons.com

Ellsworth Family -
We were saddened to see of Bill's passing. Bill was always a steady hand giving longstanding direction on the neighborhood board. I always enjoyed his quiet smile and ready quips.
May your days be filled of good memories of him. Prayers for your family.
