Benjamin Shannon Obituary
ROCHESTER - Benjamin Shannon, 34, passed away on March 11th at Maine Medical Center, Portland Maine. He was born in Dover, the son of Beverly (Bryant) Shannon and the late Wayne Shannon Sr.
Ben attended Farmington schools and worked as a framer. His hobbies and likes include tough man competitions, being outdoors, cycling, hanging out with friends and family and he loved dogs, most especially his dog Max.
Surviving members of his family are his mother Beverly (Bryant) Shannon of Rochester, his sister Lisa Caplette of Naples Florida and his brother Wayne Shannon Jr of Rochester. He also leaves behind his lifelong friend Michelle Lamantia, 10 aunts and uncles and 4 nieces and nephews.
Benjamin is predeceased by his father Wayne Shannon Sr, his nephew Wayne Daniel Shannon, his stepson JT Lamantia, maternal grandparents Hazel (Trombly) Bryant and Leonard Bryant. His paternal grand parents Arlene (Eldridge) Stevens and Daniel Shannon.
Benjamin was a loving, fun, enthusiastic son, brother and friend. He will be missed by all.
Memorial for Benjamin and Wayne Shannon Sr, through Peaslee Funeral Home, Farmington N.H., will be announced at a later date.

RIP Ben. I haven't seen you since high school but I thought about you often . I should've tried harder to reconnect with you. I have not seen Ben in a few years as life takes us elsewhere after high school but I have known Ben since we were little. He was caring , funny and passionate in what he put his mind too and would drop everything and lend a hand in need. To Bev ,Lisa and Wayne sorry for the tremendous loss. Ben, may you rest in peace. I hadn't known you that well since we were kids but I always felt a connection towards you as people said as kids we almost looked like twins.
