Christopher Foss Obituary

STRAFFORD, N.H. - Christopher (Chris) Foss, 26, of 2nd Crown Point Rd., after a long battle with Bipolar Disorder, took his own life on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at his home.

Born March 20, 1991 in Dover N.H. He is the son of Glen and Christina (Heckman) Foss.

Chris has lived in Strafford all his life. He was employed at Burger King in Rochester for eight years. He was a former cub scout. Playing video games and swimming made him happy. He enjoyed going to Lone Oak with his family. Chris was a funny, kind, sharp, and witty man who took care of his family and friends.

Members of his family include his parents, Glen and Christina Foss of Strafford; his brothers Timothy and Zachariah Foss both of Strafford; his aunts and uncles, Wendy Heckman and Sean McKenna of Salem, Eileen Foss of Rochester, Ann Mason of East Providence, R.I., and Earlon Foss and Debbie Foss, of Loudon and his cousins, Hannah Heckman-McKenna of New York, N.Y., and Heather Heckman-McKenna and William Erlandson of Columbia, Mo.; other family members and many, many friends.

SERVICES: A celebration of his life will take place in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main St., Rochester on Saturday Sept. 30, 2017 at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Jeff Hunt of First United Methodist Church of Rochester, N.H.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to www.gofundme.com/quirewoodthemusicalfilm. It is a film being made by Chris's cousin, Hannah. They have both suffered greatly from the ignorance and callousness of the people who met them and many people who consider themselves to be "professionals." Education is key.
