I took his Sci-Fi class at DHS, one of my favorite classes and experiences at DHS. His enthusiasm on the subject was amazing. I can still see him jumping up and down during the discussion of the Foundation series...."you got duped!!" RIP

He went from being Mr. McCooey to just being 'Dan.'
From the gym to the the snowy trails in the Whites, he was one of the nicest guys I've ever had the pleasure to spend time with. Determined. Fun. Loud, infectious laugh. Things you just take for granted...

Hello-I was saddened and surprised to learn of Dan's passing. Particularly as we started our teaching careers at Dover High, we spent a lot of time together. Dan was a good friend and confidant, we shared many good memories. In a horrible snowstorm, I recall attending his wedding! Dan, be at peace.

Dan was an avid hiker with the completion of the 4000 footers. We spent many hours with our friends in the snowy mountains of New Hampshire. You should know that Dan completed a marathon in his 40s. He was always up for a challenge. GREAT COMPANION. We'll miss Dan
