So very sorry that we couldn't attend the funeral, but we were both there in spirit. George was such a good man and he always made you feel welcome in his home. Even though I probably am one of the newer members of the Hooper family, he welcomed me as one of the "outlaws" of the family. I will always remember his smiling face. He will be missed. May God give Midge and their daughters,son-in-laws, and grandkids the strength to bear their loss. May the good memories keep your heart strong. He will always be with you in your hearts. He is only a prayer away. Love to you all.

My Dearest Midge, Jennifer & Fam., Katie & Family:

Please know my heart goes out to ALL of you. (My girls feel the same.) We know how very hard it is to lose the love of our life and your special Dad. George had such a wonderful smile and caring way about him. He had a charm and specialness about him that touched everyone that knew him. He was always willing to help and share his special love. He cared so much for you, Midge, and your lovely daughters, Jennifer and Katie. He was super proud of his family. His face would always light up, when he spoke of any of you. I never have had the pleasure of seeing him with his grandchildren but knowing how wonderful he was with my girls, when they were young, I can very well imagine.

I know the great sense of loss you are all feeling. Please know I am here always, if you need someone to talk with, that has been there. May the love that you shared with your loving husband and Dad help you to get through this very painful time.

I have to think that the Good Lord has a beautiful army of loving men to do his work. My prayer is that they all get to reunite in heaven, and share the wonderful laughs, smiles and love, they brought us, on earth. Please know George will be put in my daily prayers, as well as, on our prayer list at Church. Of course, I will be praying for each of you too. May God give you the strength to get through all that is ahead and may he give you great comfort and peace.

My love to each and every one of you. I love you all. You, your girls (and George) hold a very special place in my heart, always.

Paul and I were shocked and saddened to hear of George's untimely death. He was such a great guy. The universe has lost a very special man! He was always so eager to give us an update on his "girls". He was so proud of his family(rightly so)and you all brought him much joy. Though he lived for too-short a time, he lived fully. Not many folks can say that.
We are so sorry for you all and hope that memories of that GREAT smile and other wonderful things and times will sustain you.

Sincerest condolences.
Fondly,
Martha and Paul Cox
