John reached out to me years ago when I showed up at the Triangle Club and always continued to do so. He kept a lot of us in check and frequently regaled us with his stories. What a blessing it has been to call him a friend. RIP my friend.

John was a champion and advocate for land conservation, particularly for farmland, for over 12 years on the Dover Open Lands Committee. His dedication and knowledge will be sorely missed.
