Karen, I just found out today that you had passed. I kept waiting for you to come home. I will always remember you as a good neighbor and friend. The hours we spent passing the time on your porch meant the world to me. Max and Grady will be moving now, how I love those cats. My deepest sympathies to all you leave behind...you had so many plans. RIP my friend.

So, I just found out today of Karen's passing. To her family, I am sorry for your loss. I worked with her at Webster@Rye and I gotta tell you, she was one heck of a nurse and one fierce friend. She cared not only for her residents ,but, also for her staff. She was a good listener, good nurse and above all, she had compassion. She made time for everyone no matter who they were. We at Webster feel your loss as it is our loss also.
Karen, You earned your wings so now it's time to fly to the heavens. They need a 'special Angel and you have earned it!
Goodbye my friend, we will meet again for sure.

I am still in disbelief that my dearest childhood friend has died. Karen and I stayed true friends in high school and through adulthood. We laughed, loved and cried together. I will always remember her for being fiercely loyal, faithful and caring.
I have always admired and respected Karen for persevering through difficult times. She was headstrong and when she set her mind to something she was determined to see it through. As a kid, she could talk me into doing anything and I'd laugh all the way there. It's with sadness and a feeling of great loss knowing I will never see her face again in a crowd. Like the song says "Girls just want to have fun!" My deepest sympathy to Joey, Jane, Paul and their families

Mom.

You need to stay true and push to be great,
You told me to be strong and to choose love over hate,
And still I chose to challenge these traits.
So, I tested, and I doubted,
I lied, and I faked,
I even went as far as challenging your faith.
I cried, and I screamed,
And pointed and blamed
And through it all you stayed the same.
So, I stole, and I pushed,
And all your words I would shush.
And through it all you never wavered.
Youre better then that! Youd say
And Id yell you just dont get it!
You would just smile and say
I love you, and Ill see you later.
Through it all you chose love and continued to stay true,
And now I can see, and I owe that to you.
So, I ask you God for this one Favor,
Tell my Mom I love her, and she was my savior.

Love,
Your son.

Jane, Joe, Paul, Kathryn, and family. So sorry for your loss and for being unable to make services today. Karen had nothing easy, yet still gave everything she had with a heart of gold. It feels like yesterday when she called to ask us to talk finance before you went to college Jane... and even more so so how unbelievably proud she was of what you accomplished. My thoughts with you all in this difficult time.

I knew Karen from years ago when she was an LNA at Dover Rehab & Living Center. She wanted to further her education then. She was a lady with a big heart and a fun sense of humor. I can remember when she worked extra hours so she could buy extra special X-mas gifts for her 2 children. I recognized her eyes and beautiful smile in the Foster's photo immediately. She has gone to heaven way too soon.
