Melvin Ricker Obituary
Melvin had been employed first at Weiss & Lawrence for 25 years and later at Somersworth Public Works for 22 years. Melvin enjoyed yard sales, working around his yard, playing the lottery and his dog Tanner. He was an avid outdoorsman.
Melvin was predeceased by four brothers, Raymond, Robert, George and Winslow; two sisters, Irene Paterson and Lillian Emerson.
Survivors include: his wife of 53 years Ellen (Wood) Ricker of Somersworth; two sons, Melvin Jr. and Mark Ricker both of Somersworth; a sister, Ida Paterson of Somersworth; and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Roberge Funeral Home, 298 High St., Somersworth, followed by the Funeral Services at 3 with the Rev. David McKnight, Pastor of Grace Community Church, officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Glade Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Ellen Ricker 145 Backwater Road, Somersworth, to defray the funeral expenses.
