Paul Boulanger Obituary

Paul W. Boulanger Sr.

DOVER - On Sept. 18, 2013 Paul W. Boulanger Sr., 68, passed away at Overlake Medical Center, Bellevue, Wash. following a short illness.

Paul was welcomed into this world on Feb. 12, 1945 by his parents, Ernest and Rita Boulanger and was the first of their 15 children. Paul worked on the family's dairy farm in Dover, and attended Dover schools.

After graduating from Dover High School, Paul joined the Navy and was assigned to a submarine for his 6 years of service, part of the time on a nuclear submarine. Many of the skills he learned on the submarine led Paul to his life's work. Paul owned and operated Seacoast Plumbing and Air Conditioning in Newington for many years before he moved to Washington state in 1999 where he continued his business as Seacoast Mechanical.

Paul resided in Snoqualmie, Wash. and is survived by his wife, Carmen of Snoqualmie, and by his son, Paul Jr. of North Andover, Mass., and his granddaughter, Kayleigh. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, a baby sister and brothers Gerard, Robert and George.

Surviving brothers and sisters are: Andy (Helen), Sanbornville; Luci Hill (Harold), Rochester; Roland, Seattle, Wash.; Martin (Joyce), Woodinville, Wash.; Albert (Kathy), North Bend, Wash.; Bill (Katie), Somersworth; Marie Sanfacon (Dan), Berwick, Maine; Janet Bouchard (Rick), Charlotte, N.C.; Claire Graham (Don); Hampton; and Irene Boulanger of Farmington. Survivors also include many nephews, nieces and great-nephews and great-nieces.

Special thanks to sister-in-law, Joanne Boulanger (George's widow) for all the caring and help she gave Paul and Carmen throughout Paul's illness.

A graveside memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at St. Charles Cemetery in Dover, N.H. Father Mike Taylor will officiate.

Andy, Lucy and Family,
So sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I'll always remember him as a smiling, happy person and always fun to be around. Time certainly does fly by from our teenage/early 20"s to now. May the Good Lord Jesus help see you through this difficult time and may He Bless you all.
