Susan Sears Obituary
Sue was born in Manchester, N.H. on June 6, 1948, daughter of the late James and Adrienne (Dewyngaert) Babel. She graduated in 1966 from Dover High School in Dover, N.H., and received her nursing degree in 1975 from Prince George's Community College in Maryland.
After graduation Sue worked as a registered nurse at various hospitals on the East coast, including Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, N.H.; then as a visiting nurse for Oyster River Home Health in Durham, N.H. from 1979 until she retired in 1983. Sue moved to Colorado in 2001 and continued to help out voluntarily in the Denver/Aurora community in a nursing capacity through health fairs and advocacy programs.
She enjoyed traveling with friends and family, sewing/quilting, cooking, playing card/board games, gardening and spending time with her daughters and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Christie Sears Kezlan and her husband, Tim Kezlan, Terri Sears; three grandchildren, Connor, Garrett and Samantha Kezlan; four siblings, Marilyn Babel Williamson; Donn Babel, Alan Babel and wife, Lee, Steve Babel and wife, Suzanne; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on July 30 at 11 a.m. at St. John's United Methodist Church, 28 Cataract Ave., Dover, N.H. A reception will follow.
