Waynie was one of a kind..there is no doubt about that...I knew Wayne years ago and when we moved away had lost touch...when my mother in law passed away he came to the funeral home and he and Bob connected again like all those years just slipped away. He had a way of making any situation pleasurable and unique. My sympathies to the family, but take comfort in knowing he is in a better place and suffers no more. God Bless each of you.

Our sympathy to Richard and Sharon for all you've been through in taking care of Wayne...and Paul Richard-this story is for you...As you know, I made my way up to Maine Medical very early on June 29th nineteen years ago-your Dad came soon after and was there to witness the greatest miracle of all-your entry into the world...you were so very tiny and came weeks before you were due. We all had a talk with the specialist who said you were fragile and we'd have to wait and see how things turned out-your father sat and listened to her and finally asked one question-it went something like this...so Doc, what's the story, is he going to make it or what? (doesn't that sound like him?) The Doctor said time would tell but right at that moment, your father took on his role trying to protect you and he never stopped. He loved you so much!!! You were his pride and joy-we know how much you will miss him and we wanted you to know that we are all thinking of you at this time. You gave him far more joy than you could possibly know...our thoughts are with you-we love you! Aunt Gina and Uncle John, Justin and Jilly

Dear Sharon & Family
I'm so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. I hadn't seen him for many years but I will always remember the fun we had back in the "good old days" Steve and Wayne were such good friends back in the day and I'm sure they are now reminiscing about those days. The angels needed someone else to make them laugh. Now they have Wayne right along side Steve. Always remember the good times and keep him close to your heart.

Dear Richard, Sharon and Paul....
I am so sorry for your family with Waynes passing. He sure put up a heck of a fight during his long battle with cancer.
I first met him at WDH and he stole my heart with his funny stories, his unconventional look, and most of all, his spirit. What a character! I feel lucky to have known him.
May good memories of better times fill your hearts.

Dear Paul, Richard, Sharon, and the rest of the clan, Wayne left his mark on the hearts of residents and staff at RRH. He will truely be missed. He filled the days of all who got to know him in his last days with a lot of fun, love, and laughs. I always remember with great fondness all the times wayne offered to turn it up for me...(in reference to his non-verbal communication skills)...wayne always special and fun, and now greatly missed

Hi Uncle Wayne!

I feel very fortunate to have been able to spend some quality time with you over the last 3 months. I appreciate the fact that you never once let anyone/thing change who you are as an individual. I will miss the way you greeted me “Hello Dear” and that long ponytail. I love you very much and will always hold a special place in my heart for you.

Thank you for being my Uncle.

Love Always, Jessica xoxo
