Roy Boatwright Obituary

Roy & Lassiefene Boatwright

Roy & Lassiefene Boatwright

Roy: September 15, 1938-February 8, 2022

Lassiefene: August 20, 1943- February 9, 2022

After 64 years of marriage here on this earth, Roy and Lassiefene both gained their angel wings within 24 hours of each other. The love they had for each other was shown and carried on thru their children, Delores and Roy Alan.

Roy passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, and Lassiefene passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.

Roy and Lassiefene made a living on the Gulf and loved spending their free time hunting, fishing, and enjoying time with their family and friends. They were devoted parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents.

They are survived by their family to include their daughter, Delores (Paul) Carroll, and son, Roy Alan (MaryAnn) Boatwright. Siblings: Bill (Joy) Lolley and Frances (Chris) Gainer. Grandchildren: Melinda (Chris) Long, Paula (Henry) Harlow, Ryan Boatwright, Lee (Stacie) Boatwright, and great-grandchildren, Bayli (Dylan) Long, Bryce Long, Hannah Harlow, Abbygail Boatwright, Henley Harlow, and McKinley Boatwright, as well as an abundance of nieces and nephews.

Inseparable even in death, we will be holding services for Roy and Lassiefene at the Eastpoint Cemetery on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.
