George Alexander Obituary

ROYSTON - George "Blue" Allison Alexander, 92, of Royston, passed away Dec. 13, 2022, at his son's home.
Born July 22, 1930, in Reynolds, he was the son of the late William Marvin Alexander and Ruby Lee Allen Alexander. He was a truck driver, having worked with Complete Auto Transit for 42 years. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and a former member of Truck Stop Ministry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bette Anne Roach Alexander, and sons, Charles Allison Alexander and John Murray Alexander.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Stacie Alexander of Royston; grandchildren, Jenna Villeco, Hope Brooks, Sara Bailey, Elise Alexander, Chloe Alexander, Jackson Alexander, Charles Alexander and Joanna Alexander; and three great-grandchildren.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Riverside Baptist Church, with the Revs. Paul Jameson, Roger Elrod and Glenn Lyles officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will be at their respective homes.
