Janice Vickery Obituary
Born March 6, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Tom Watson and Mary Nell Adams Moorhead. Before retirement, she worked for the Department of Family and Children's Services. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Lavonia, where she served as church pianist for over 50 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brent Vickery, and sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Wilton "Punk" Morgan.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Vickery; grandson, Ethan Vickery; and brother, Mike Moorhead.
The funeral service was Wednesday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. John Forbes officiating. Burial was in Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Music Department, 250 Pleasant Grove Road, Lavonia, GA 30553.
