Hannelore Brunner Obituary

Hannelore "Hanne" Brunner was born on 9/30/38 in Hochspeyer, Germany, a small town in the southwest of the country. She married an American service member stationed there and moved to the US when she was 23. Hanne loved living in the US with all that it had to offer. She lived in various parts of the country, including Idaho, California, New York State, Virginia, North Carolina, and finally western Massachusetts. She loved learning and completed her BA degree while she was working at Syracuse University. She later earned her MSW at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, and worked as a therapist in the Springfield, MA area. Hanne had a lifelong interest in spiritual thought and was a serious student and explorer of many spiritual traditions. Friends knew her as a wonderful conversationalist, a lover of the arts, and a beautiful and sensitive soul who cared deeply about others. She was also hiker and lover of nature, and had a soft spot for animals, especially dogs. Hanne passed peacefully on 7/20/24 and is no doubt enjoying her new life in the spiritual realms which she believed in wholeheartedly.
