Aaron Brown Obituary

Aaron Wall Brown, 62, of Monrovia, Maryland passed peacefully August 16, 2025 at home after a tough battle with cancer.

He was born June 18, 1963; son of the late Alvin Brown and Elizabeth Wall Brown.

Aaron had a passion for music and playing the guitar. He started playing at the age of nine when he got his first guitar and joined a band while in high school with friends John, Kenny, Bud and Bill. The band reconnected to play at their 40th high school reunion. Aaron was a graduate of Linganore High School "Class of 1981." He retired as manager of the meat department with Giant Food after 33 years.

Aaron was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids who affectionately know him as Grandad. He enjoyed drawing, spending time at the dock fishing and crabbing, celebrating holidays, the Redskins, the Orioles and watching movies.

He is survived by his step daughter, Shannon Loveless (Jason) and kids Austin and Chris of Jefferson; a son, Aaron Brown of New Market, his daughter, Amanda Brown and kids Meadow, Harlow and Charlie of New Market, and daughter Lauren Larrick (Ben) and kids Ripken, Cooper and Ellie of Smithsburg. Aaron's sisters; Brenda Seal of Annapolis, Cherie Reynolds of Laplata and his brother Rodney Brown of Arnold.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved dog, Ellie Mae.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday August 23, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Melvin T Strider Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 2654 Valley Ave. Suite B. Winchester, Virginia 22601.

Inurnment services will be private at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by Melvin T Stirder Colonial Funeral Home, Ranson, WV.
