Anna Eury

1932 - 2024

Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Eury, 91, of Brunswick MD, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family, the morning of March 3rd.

She was the wife of the late Russell E Eury Sr. whom married June 18, 1949.

Born June 26, 1932 in Page County Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Ora Lam.

Anna was loved by everyone that knew her. She was a Golden Age Charter member and worked at the Brunswick Eagle Aerie FOE 1136 where she enjoyed bartending for many years. She was a Sunday school teacher at the First Baptist Church in Brunswick and a life member of the Brunswick Volunteer Fire Company

More than anything she was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, word search puzzles, scratch offs, constructing decorative floral arrangements, and being surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her three daughters Pam Dawson, Debra Fauble, Paula Smothers, six sons Dennis Eury, Robert Eury, Ronald Eury, Charles Eury, Charles Eury Jr, Tyler Eury, sister Dewayne Grimm, 12 grandchildren, and numerous great and great- great grandchildren.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband Russell Eury Sr, two sons Russell Eury Jr, Paul Eury, daughter Patricia Hahn, two brothers Harold Lam, Aldine Lam, and sister Margaret Eury.

The family will receive family and friends for a public viewing at John T. Williams Funeral Home, 100 Petersville Road in Brunswick MD, Wednesday March 6, 2024 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Thursday March 7, 2024 at 11:30am. Interment to follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Frederick.
