Anthony Kenosian Obituary

Mr. Anthony Kenosian, 90, of Mt. Airy died on Tuesday, January 31, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Margaret Eaton Kenosian who died in 1984.

Born on June 2, 1915 in Chelsea, Mass., he was the son of the late Avak and Zabel Mazmanian Kenosian. Mr. Kenosian served in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Major, and then continued to work in the intelligence community at Ft. Meade. He enjoyed ballroom dancing and studying foreign languages of which he spoke four.

Surviving are a sister, Mariam K. Chamberlain of New York, NY; a nephew, David Kenosian of Berwyn, PA; 2 nieces: Mary Kenosian of Waterloo, IA and Cheryl Windsor and husband Don of Mt. Airy; as well as a number of great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Kenosian.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 4, at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 8001 Annapolis Rd., New Carrollton with Rev. Jonathan Currier officiating.

Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 8001 Annapolis Rd., New Carrollton, MD 20784.

Arrangements are by Stauffer Funeral Home, Mt. Airy.
