We [Marlen [Tretheway] Levin], Judy [Labows] Sabatino and John Labows] wish to offer our condolences on the passing of Betsy McAlpine. We have a close family relationship to the McAlpines as our grandmother [Mary Fleming McAlpine Butts] is a brother to Harrison McAlpine and she would be the Aunt of Harrison, Jr. Possibly he would remember her. She lived in Lonaconing MD prior to marriage to Fred Butts.
Marlen lives in Frederick Md and thus shared the obituary with us. My daughter [Jenifer Labows Link] was viewing the family history for a name for her son and chose Harrison who is now 3 years old.
