Brett Norris Obituary

Mr. Brett Alexander Norris, 26, of Middletown, died Sunday, Nov. 12, in Hagerstown.

Born Dec. 9, 1973, in Fairfax, Va., he was the son of Gregory Darnell Norris of Middletown, and Judith Villars McKey of Metairie, La.

He was employed by Quality Collision Repair in Frederick, and was a 1992 graduate of Middletown High School.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two children, Taylor Mae Norris and Morgan Alexis Norris, both of Hagerstown; stepmother, Shirley M. Norris of Middletown; three sisters, Christine V. Norris of Metairie, Donna R. Bidle of Hagerstown, and Cathlene D. Miner and husband William C. of Sharpsburg; one half-brother, Rob W. McKey of Metairie; one half-sister, Rahna N. McKey of Metairie; stepgrandparents, James and Dorothy Fincham of Cumberland and Kensington; maternal stepgrandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Robert W. McKey of Metairie; and three nieces, Chauncy Williams, Brandy Miner and Megan Miner.

He will also be remembered by his friend, Fawn M. Winfield and her son J.R. Winfield, both of Hagerstown.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, at Myersville Baptist Church, U.S. 40, Myersville. The Rev. Wayne Spear will officiate.

Interment will be in Christ Reformed Church Cemetery, Middletown.

Memorial contributions may be made to Middletown Valley Bank, P.O. Box 75, Middletown 21769, for the benefit of Taylor and Morgan Norris.
