I was one of Chad's middle school teachers and I will never forget his smile, friendliness and determination to do his very best.
He was one on my first students when I came to Carroll County and I knew from working with him that I had made the right move!
My deepest regrets and daily prayers to his wife, children, parents and family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Chad was taken way to early. I will remember anytime I was out in the yard he'd always give a smile and a wave as he passed.

My heart breaks for this most tragic loss. While I never knew Chad I knew his father, his father's sister, and grandparents. I was fortunate and spent many a happy day in the summers growing up on "the farm" with Stevie, Nancy and Aunt Becky and Uncle John. Those memories are some of my most cherished and I can't imagine the anguish over so sudden and unexpected a loss befalling such wonderful and giving people. My thoughts and prayers, along with those of both my brother's, and Mom, are with Chad's entire family especially his wife and children. -- J.D. Clem

There is hardly a day that goes by that I don't hear my son (Wyatt) mention Chad. He looked up to Chad in the most admirable and respectful way. Chad was truly a wonderful role model for Wyatt, even for the short time that he has known him. We are blessed for having the opportunity to meet Chad. We are so saddened to learn of this tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Arbaugh family and all who mourn his loss.

I went to middle school with Chad and even though it's been many years, it still feels heart beating to read about an old class mate who's gone way too soon.
To his family and friends I'll keep y'all in my thoughts and prayers. If you need anything my family and I will be there. May he Rest In Peace and watch over his loved ones.
