Clara Weedon Obituary
She was the wife of the late Charles W. (Chas) Weedon, Sr. for over 30 years and they blessed Bentz Street with 6 beautiful children. Clara had an anointing for caregiving and she shared her gift with the world in many forms. She worked as a domestic worker for the Weinburg's for many years.
Clara is survived by her children, Charles Weedon, Jr. (Lisa), Ronald Weedon, Rick Weedon, Vickie Weedon, and Rene' Taylor (Nathan); grandchildren, Andre' Taylor (Shannon), Elizabeth Larkin, Morgan Taylor, Ashleigh Weedon, Ronald Weedon Jr., Breia Weedon, her adoptive grandson Ryan Young and his son Anthony Young; great-grandchildren, Jadyn Taylor, Avery Taylor and Jesse Cruz, Jr., one brother-in-law, Noonan Weedon; one sister-in-law, Willis Jackson (Maurice); and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lewis (Lighting) Barnes, daughter Donna Jean, son Divead David A. Weedon, and sister Anna Brown.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 11:00 am -12:00 p.m. at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. Pastor Luke Robinson will officiate. Interment will be at the Fairview Cemetery.
