Daniel Boone Obituary
Mr. Boone was born August 4, 1932 in Flagpond, TN the son of the late Wayne Auseph Boone & the late Virginia Mae (nee Corn) Boone.
He was the spouse of the late Ruth Louise Boone.
He was a Past Commander of VFW Four Counties Post 10076 Mt. Airy; he was a member of the American Legion Gold Star Post 191 Mt. Airy, the Prudence Lodge #190 A.F.& A.M Mt. Airy and the Order of the Eastern Star # 95 Mt. Airy. He also enjoyed woodworking and Gardening.
Mr. Boone is survived by his son David and wife Shirley Boone of Millersville, MD, a son Wade Boone of Mt. Airy, MD and his daughter Michele and husband Charles Lohoefer of Woodbine, MD. He is also survived by his grandchildren Kevin, Keith, and Jason Lohoefer and Jack Young. Mr. Boone is also survived by his two sisters Thelma Siverd and Edna Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Louise Mae Boone and his sister Beulah Chesseri.
The family will receive friends on Monday May 1, 2017 from 3-5 to 7-9 PM at the BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, P.A. 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside S. Carroll High School). Where Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 11 AM.
Interment to follow at Lake View Memorial Park.
Following the interment there will be a reception held at the Winfield Vol. Fire Dept. Hall at 1320 W Old Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784
