Daniel Morris Obituary

Daniel Ray Morris, 56, of Brunswick, died July 10, 2007, at Washington Hospital Center.

He was born June 29, 1951, in Louisville, Ky., to Hontas DeWitt Morris and Elizabeth Hurst Morris.

He was a retired sheet metal mechanic with W.E. Welch and Associates in Ijamsville.

Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Barbara E. Morris, at home; one son, Zachary R. Morris, at home; two sisters, Carla Elliott of Laurel, Del. and Debra Waddell of Delaware; and one brother, Paul D. Morris of Delaware.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Brenda Davis; and two brothers, Philip Morris and Gerry Morris.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 16, at John T. Williams Funeral Home, 100 Petersville Rd., Brunswick, with the Rev. Roland England officiating. Interment will be at Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. For the convenience of friends, the funeral home will be open Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
