So sad to see Dan's obituary when i went in search of him. i had grown up next door to him in Deep Creek and later after several owners ended up owning the log cabin he built there. Fond memories of my child hood and times spent with the Speace family. Being a fellow scouter and scoutmaster it was refreshing to know that Dan had stayed active in scouting. He will be missed. So sorry to hear of his passing.

We will miss you Dan. Dan was president of our 1955 EHS class and worked very hard at it. He especially worked hard on the reunions over the years. Our 50th was super. The last time Dan contacted us was this year, 64 years after graduation, planning another reunion. Don't know much about St Peter standing at the gate but I'm sure Dan will be there with a sign reading EHS class of '55' this way for our next reunion. We already miss you Dan.

Bobbi, Dan and Family,
No words could be said that would ease your pain at this time, but in time your memories will help you get through this difficult time. May it help in some small way to know that you are in my prayers.
With deepest sympathy,
