Peg & family.
You all helped me see what a real "family" looked like.
Thank you for that Dr. Ballantine.
May God just continue to bless each of you & your individual families as you reflect on a life that touched many people.
Love y´all.

Hello Peggy, and the rest of you Ballantine’s—I recall each of you individually with fond memories.
It’s hard to believe 5 years have gone by since your Dad Graced Heaven.
I know you each share some sorrow on this anniversary, yet be sure to recall all the great & positive memories, like I have of you Peg, who showed me that a girl with braces & a retainer could be absolutely gorgeous!
My love & prayers to you all.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Ballantine family. I grew up going to church at St. John's and I am still a member there. I always remember Mr. Ballantine sitting behind me as a young child & teenager always joking with me but then he would reach out and give me a great big smile. He will be deeply missed by many.

Dave was a kind, gentle, humble, sensitive, brilliant man who opened his heart and home to all that he met. It was a privilege to have been considered his "adopted" daughter and his friendship down through the years enriched my life enormously! I fondly remember the many shared meals, the laughter, the song fests, the various celebrations (life was to be celebrated), etc., He will be deeply missed.

I recall driving my first car up to the Ballantine home. Daughter Peggy was the love of my youth many, many years ago. The kindness I was met with by Dr. Ballantine & the entire family will never be forgotten. I can still see all the family portraits hanging in the family room through my mind's eye & to this day I try to model my home after the love & acceptance I felt in that one.
Peggy, My prayers are with all of you as you celebrate the life of your Dad.
Love in Christ, Gary Foster

Dr. B, I will always remember you with fondness and a smile. You were such a nice person to work with even though you had to put up with all my shenanigans! Rest in peace. Michele Mauro Small

I know Dave must be in heaven right now lovingly greeting his relatives and friends. I never once saw him in a bad mood and his genuine love for people made him everyone's friend. It's a joy to know a man like Dave. How blessed we were who called him friend.
Peace be to him and all his loved ones.
