Deanne Jennings Obituary

Mrs. Deanne D. Jennings "Dee", 73, of Beallsville, passed away unexpectedly on January 24, 2012 at Suburban Hospital inBethesda.

She was the beloved wife of the late James E. Jennings. Born on July 2, 1938 in Chetopa, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Theda Smith.

Surviving are her daughter Lisa D. Jennings, her bonus daughter Pamela Hetrick(Joe),her step- children Brenda Hartman (George), James Jennings, Jr. (Terry), and Paulette Payton (Ron), her grandchildren Jeromey Hartmann, James and Jennifer Jennings, her two bonus grandchildrenJoseph and Jonathan Hetrick,andher friend Michael Running. She is also survived by two brothers, Richard Smith (Sandy) of Fredericksburg, VA, Stephen Smith (Diana) of Wichita, KS; and one sister Sharon Wallace (Thad) of New-Bern NC.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday January 28th at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road, Barnesville (hiltonfh.com) with the family receiving friends one half hour prior to the funeral service.

Interment will follow in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dee's name to the Arthritis Foundation P.O. Box 96280, Washington, DC 20077 (arthritis.org) or the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011 (alz.org)
