Edgar Zander Obituary
Born on March 2, 1924, he was the son of the late Edgar A. Zander, Sr. and Agnes Robinson Zander.
He was the husband of the late Theresa W. Zander.
He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ of Thurmont, MD and worked for Moore Business Forms for 35 years. He was also a member of Acacia Lodge #155 since 1953, and a lifetime member of Guardian Hose Company. He enjoyed gardening, motorcycling, and attending retiree's functions.
He is predeceased by his son, Edgar "Chip" Zander, III.
He is survived by his son, George Zander and wife, Elizabeth of Dickerson, MD., Chip's wife, Barbara of Pegram, TN. His is also remembered by the Lillard family of Thurmont, MD. and the Weiskopf family of Hatfield, PA.
A Memorial service will take place at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main Street Thurmont, MD 21788 on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Sean DeLawder will officiate. Interment will be private.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

I lived right up the street from Mr.Zander and loved going to his shop where he was always making something,he was so very smart and kind,it was a honor to know him.
