Frances Mills Obituary

Frances Louise Mills, 93, of Germantown, MD, passed away on October 9, 2025.

She was the loving wife of the late Merle Ray Mills.

Born on February 7, 1932 in Dickerson, MD, she was the daughter of the late Albert Edward and Madeline Louise (Roberts) Young.

Frances is survived by her son; Mark E. Mills, wife, Pam and one granddaughter; Victoria (Tori) Rae Mills

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother; Caroline Frances Roberts, who played a vital role and influence in Frances' life.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 16th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road, Barnesville, MD. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 17th at Darnestown Presbyterian Church, 15120 Turkey Foot Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20878. Interment to follow in church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Darnestown Presbyterian Church. Frances L. Mills

To Mark and family, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Aunt Francis. I always loved seeing her and visiting with her when Nana (Alice) was alive. We have lost touch with Francis over the years, but I send my deepest thoughts and prayers during this time.
