GABRIELA ST. ANDRE Obituary
Born October 14, 1934, in Cochabamba, Bolivia, she was the daughter of the late Jose and Dolores Covarrubias. She was predeceased by her siblings Emma, Pepe, Maria Luisa ("Luly"), Betty, and Alice, whom she loved dearly.
Gabriela studied music in college and moved to the United States in her early 20s where she married and had two children. She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Marie St. Andre of Myersville, MD, and Deborah Sharon Lelm (Dave Lelm) of Myersville, MD, and grandchildren Amanda Smith, Matthew Smith, Sean Bremer, Morgan Bremer, and Ryan Bremer.
Gabriela was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church of Frederick, MD. She enjoyed attending mass every Sunday. She loved taking daily walks, music (especially Engelbert Humperdinck and Tom Jones), red roses, watching Dancing With The Stars and America's Got Talent, praying, going to lunch with her friends, crocheting, peanut M&Ms, dancing, playing piano, and the color red. Most of all, she adored her five grandchildren and cherished every minute spent with them.
Service will be private and at the convenience of the family.
The family would like to thank all the caregivers at Brookdale Senior Living and Hospice of Washington County for their excellent care.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Gabriela St. Andre to the Alzheimer's Association at 502 Washington Avenue, Suite 300, Towson, MD 21204.
