Mr. Strasberger was my architectural drawing instructor at Linganore High School in the early to mid 1980s. Although it never became my profession I will always have these memories of a fun and fair teacher. I was thinking of Mr. Strasberger the other day. That´s when I discovered he had passed away in 2020. I´m sure you are at peace Mr. Strasberger and I know you will be greatly missed.

Sorry for not catching this , but still wanted to share my condolences. Mom ( Dottie Farnsworth Wood ) George´s 1st cousin , would tell me stories of them hanging out . George selling roasted peanuts back in the days . We´d run into him here and there and yard sales - lol and they´d always take time for one another . I remember your mom as well . And I believe I met you grandfather one time at my grandparents ( Ida Dortothy Farnsworth ) . Good memories of your folks for sure .

I knew your parents way back, when I lived in Braddock Heights. I was a Waxter then. Your dad had the best sense of humor and we had some good laughs together. I wish you wonderful memories. Sandy

I send my condolences to the Strasberger family. Mr. Strasberger was my coach for several years with the Evangelical Lutheran Church team in the YMCA-Church Basketball League. I was a proud member of our Junior Division Championship team in 1975. I was always impressed with Mr. Strasberger's sophisticated playbooks, basketball tips, and statistics. He was a great teacher of the game, and of life.

I send my deepest sympathy to the family of George. I attended FCC with George and also worked with him as an art teacher when he was a Vice-Principal at GTJHS. He was always smiling and enjoyed doing tricks. Once I entered his office, and all of a sudden a squirt of water hit me from a water gun he had confiscated form a student. Surprise!
God bless his children and grandchildren.
