Mr. Gilbert Gawaran Ignacio, of Boyds, MD, died Friday, December 23, 2005.--

Predeceased by his parents Policarpio Guinto Ignacio and Soledad Parales Gawaran Ignacio.--

Loving husband of 36 years of Jessie Arbis Ignacio. Faithful father of Janneth Ignacio Marcelo (husband Rowland) of Gaithersburg, MD; Gladys Ignacio Aldaz (husband Hector) of Albany, CA; and Herbert Marvin Arbis Ignacio of Boyds, Md. Grandfather of Gabriel Ignacio Aldaz, Emilio Ignacio Aldaz, Rowland Ignacio Marcelo, and the late Mateo Ignacio Aldaz. Brother of Matilde Ignacio Dimapilis, Gloria Ignacio Legaspi, Loreto Gawaran Ignacio, Policarpio Gawaran Ignacio, Meade Ignacio Francisco, and the late Pedro Gawaran Ignacio.--

He was employed by Serv Pro of Bethesda/Potomac for 10 years. He enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, billiards, and helping people. He was the treasurer of the Filipino-American Association of Frederick, MD; and was also a member of Riverhead Lodge #0645 F & A.M. of Riverhead, NY, Scottish Rite Valley of Rockville Center, Ali Gahn Shriners A.A.O.N.M.S of Cumberland, MD.

Friends will be received at Pumphrey's Colonial Funeral Home, 300 W. Montgomery Ave. (Rt. 28, just off I-270, exit 6A) Rockville, Md. on Thursday, December 29, 2005 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m., and on December 30, 2005 at the First Baptist Church of Rockville, 55 Adclare RD, Rockville, MD 20850 from 10-11 a.m.; where services will be held at 11 a.m.. Interment private.
