Seeing the obituary for my friend Deets Warfield brought back a, lot of memories. I sold advertising to Deets at Damacus Chevrolet back in the mid 70's and early 80's for WFMD. You could not find a kinder more gentle person than Deets Warfield. He was a good client, a mentor and a better friend. We lost touch as the years passed but occasionally I would see him at a restaurant or somewhere in downtown Frederick. I will miss my friend.....condolences to David and the family.
