Hans Woodward

Mr. Hans M. "Pap" Woodward, 49, of Thurmont, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 31, at his home.--He was the husband of Tammy Mc Lain Woodward, the love of his life.--They were married 29 years.

Born December 21, 1957 in Yola, Nigeria, he was the son of David Earl and Eleonore Bhrendt Woodward of Hagerstown, Md.

Mr. Woodward was a member of Calvary Assembly of God where he participated in the worship team and drama activities.--He was employed at Dennis Kitchens as a sales representative and designer for 12 years.--He enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing events, sports events and most of all spending time with his family and grandsons.--

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by three children, Heidi Mae Eppley and husband Joshua of Walkersville, Gretchen Horner of Thurmont, and Eric Woodward and wife, Jennifer of Fairfield, Pa.; four grandsons Kaleb Sellers, Kathen Horner, Eric P. Woodward Jr., and Casey Eppley.--His sisters, Dagmar Yount and husband, Bill of Hagerstown, and Christa Coss and husband Dwayne of Hagerstown,; brother, Harlan Woodward of Calif.; mother and father-in-law, Jim and Wanda McLain of Walkersville and many nieces and nephews. He will also be remembered by his special friends Lonnie McLain, Bronson McLain, Ronnie Jones and many many other friends.-- He was preceded in death by a brother, Peter Woodward.--He will be missed by many.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4, at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 5, from the Calvary Assembly of God Church, 8234 Woodsboro Pike, Walkersville, Md. with Pastor John Kenney officiating.

Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
