Howard "Butch" Repass

1943 - 2025

Howard "Butch" E. Repass, Jr., a beloved father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully at his home on November 4, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on June 23, 1943, in Purcellville, Virginia, Butch lived a life full of experiences, humor, and cherished family moments.

For 40 years, Butch dedicated himself to his career as a bread truck driver for Ottenberg's Bakery. His commitment to his work reflected his strong work ethic and determination, qualities he imparted to his family.

Beyond work, Butch found joy in traveling and camping; activities that allowed him to bond with his family and create lasting memories. He took great pleasure in spending time with his daughters and grandchildren, instilling in them the importance of family and togetherness. His sense of humor and infectious laugh will be well remembered by his family.

Butch is survived by his two daughters, Kelly Repass (Janice Reamey) and Kristen Shriver (Bill Shriver). He also leaves behind two grandchildren, Ricky Shriver (Ashley Shriver) and Tara Shriver, along with three great-grandchildren, Will, Kayden, and Dallas. His brother Gary also survives him. In addition, he will be remembered fondly by his loved one, Bonnie Heffernan.

Butch is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Repass, and his two sisters, who with him shared countless memories throughout their lives.

A visitation will take place at Stauffer Funeral Home in Frederick, Maryland, on November 12, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on November 13 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service will follow at Stauffer Funeral Home on November 13, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM with a light lunch to follow. Butch will be laid to rest during a graveside service at Parklawn Memorial Park in Rockville, Maryland at 2:30 PM. Howard "Butch" Repass
