Ina Hoover Obituary

Mrs. Ina Frances "Frankie" Hoover, 54, of 19525 Waters Road, Germantown, died Thursday, April 15 at Casey House, Rockville, following an extended illness. She was the wife of Roger D. Hoover, her husband of 35 years.

Born June 16, 1949, in Tazwell, Va., she was the daughter of George and Edna Patton Burress of Gaithersburg.

Mrs. Hoover was a 1968 graduate of Poolesville High School. She was employed as the manager of Germantown Mini Storage for the past 14 years. She was a life member of Montgomery County Agricultural Fair.

She enjoyed collecting china dolls and going to yard sales.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by three daughters, Crystal Robertson and husband Russell of Frederick, and Aaron Hoover and Lisa Hoover, both of Germantown; a son, Dwain Hoover and wife Verna Boucher of Helena, Mont.; five grandchildren, Joey Robertson, Joshua Robertson, Cody Lee Hoover, Jake Hoover and Emma Kay Hoover; three sisters, Carol Jackson and husband Melvin, Ann Heaton and husband Guy, all of Romney, W.Va., and Barbara Shewey of Germantown; a brother, Johnny Burress and wife Wanda of Gaithersburg; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, George Burress Jr. in 1971; and a brother-in-law, Dennis Shewey.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 19, at Hartzler Funeral Home, 11802 Liberty Road, Libertytown. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, April 18. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Casey House, 6001 Muncaster Mill Road, Rockville, Md. 20855.
