James S. Stull

1950 - 2025

James "Jimmy" Stanton Stull, 75, of Keymar, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 17, 2025, surrounded by his devoted wife and daughter.

Born on April 26, 1950, in Frederick, Maryland, he was the son of the late Simon Michael Stull and Margaret Mae (Woolever) Stull. He was the beloved husband of Susan M. Stull, with whom he would have celebrated 54 years of marriage on July 27.

Jimmy was a 1969 graduate of Thomas Johnson High School. Shortly after graduation, he proudly enlisted in the United States Army, serving four years, including two years stationed in Bamberg, Germany. It was there he married the love of his life, Sue. Following his honorable discharge, Jimmy pursued a career as a skilled mechanic and crane operator. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own business, Jim Stull Truck Repair.

Jimmy was a man of remarkable craftsmanship and dedication. He built the home where he and Sue raised their family and took great pride in working the land on their nine-acre property in Keymar. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and a fondness for outside animals. A lover of classic westerns, he found comfort in simple pleasures and valued time spent with his family above all else.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sue; daughter, Jamie Crews and husband Eric; sons, Jesse Stull and Travis Stull and wife Vicki; and his cherished grandchildren: Lauren and Jaiden Crews, and Jasmine and Leviathan Stull. He is also survived by his siblings: Mike Stull and wife Edie, David Stull and wife Jackie, Mary Hollis and husband Bill, Billy Stull, Timmy Stull, Ginny King and husband Jay, Missy King and husband Jeff, Robbie Stull, and Ricky Stull and wife May.

Jimmy will be remembered for his strong work ethic, deep love for his family, and quiet but steadfast presence.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
