Janet Stockman Obituary
Janet graduated from Frederick High School in 1955 and owned and operated Evelyn's Beauty Salon in Frederick. She was a member of the Middletown AMVETS auxiliary. Her life's passions were spending time with her friends and family, especially on the lake in Maine or on the Potomac River. She enjoyed making holidays special every year and knew the value of a perfectly timed joke. Her true legacy is that Janet made sure that everyone felt her love, both spoken and unspoken. She taught the importance of saying " I Love You" and living by those words.
Janet is survived by her husband of 68 years, Thomas E. Stockman, her children Kathy J. Nichols (Chuck) and Edward V. Stockman, her grandchildren Lainey Keimig (John), Chase Nichols and Eddie Stockman, her sisters Polly M. Blizzard and Karole M. House, as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the caring team of Frederick Health Hospice, Right At Home Care Services, and Mason Dixon Mobile Medicine.
The service will be private. Services entrusted to Thompson Harman Funeral Home, Middletown. Condolences may be made to the family at www.harmanfunerals.com

I have so many memories of traveling with Janet, Barb and Dolores.
For many years we went to OC the last week of August. We traveled to Myrtle Beach, Virginia Beach and especially our tris to Williamsburg twice a year.
She was a fun lady. Loved to hear her jokes! Have missed seeing her. We made candy together every Christmas for a long time. My husband and I moved to Garrett Co in 1997 so lost track of seeing her but not the memories.
