Jeffrey Crampton Obituary
He graduated from Thomas Johnson High School in 1968 and spent his professional life working in sales, where his warmth and humor made lasting impressions. Jeff married Regina Pansa, on September 24, 1983, in Frederick. Their daughter, Nicole Lynne Crampton, was born in 1986, and Jeff took immense pride in being a devoted father and later, a joyful grandfather to Emilia and Sam.
A lifelong lover of music, Jeff played guitar in the local band "The Five Degrees" during the 1960s. He had a gift for making people laugh and found joy in simple pleasures-shooting darts, target practice, fishing, golfing and riding motorcycles with his brother and close friends. He was a passionate supporter of the Baltimore Orioles, often attending games at Camden Yards with his family or cheering them on from home. Jeff also cherished Maryland traditions, especially eating hardshell crabs, frequently at the Elks Club Lodge 684 of Frederick.
Jeff is survived by his wife of 42 years, Regina Pansa Crampton; daughter, Nicole Lynne Crampton; grandchildren, Emilia and Sam; siblings, Alesa (Don) Seymour, Eric Crampton, and Lori (Steven) Cromwell; sister-in-law Emilia (Joel) Palmer; and mother-in-law Frances Pansa.
A private inurnment will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens at a later date. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate caregivers at Autumn Lake at Ballenger Creek, The Cottage at Spring Arbor Senior Living of Frederick, Bridging Life Hospice, Frederick Health Hospice, and especially Jonathon from Right At Home, for their dedicated care over the past two years.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
Jeff will be remembered for his humor, his music, and the love he gave so freely. His spirit lives on in the laughter of his grandchildren and the melodies he left behind. Jeffrey Crampton
