Joyce Hahn Obituary

Mrs. Joyce Enadene Hahn, 81 of Frederick, passed away peacefully on April 9 2012 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law. She was the wife of the late G. William "Bill" Hahn, who died November 28, 1988 .

Born January 5, 1931 in Frederick, she a daughter of the late Austin Charles and HazelMarieFirestone Gibbons.

She was a member of the Grace United Church of Christ, Frederick. She enjoyed working in her flower beds, crocheting, and spending time with her great-grandson Cody.

Mrs. Hahn was survived by her daughter: Lorretta Mercer and husband Grayson, her grandson: Grayson William "Bill" Mercer and wife Kelly; and her great-grandson: Cody William Mercer all of Frederick, her sister: Doris Droneburg, and a devoted brother-in-law, Roland Hahn of Fort Myers, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a son: William E. Hahn on March 3, 1995.

The family would like to thank Hospice for all of their help and care, the caring staff of FMH RoseHill, and Dr. Hundemer and her staff, during this difficult time.

Mrs. Hahn is at the Robert E. Dailey & Son Funeral Homes, P.A., 1201 NorthMarket Street, Frederick, where the family will receive friends from 7-9 P.M. on Wednesday, April 11.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, April 12 at the funeral home with Rev. Doug Griffin, Grace UCC, officiating.

Pallbearers are Grayson Mercer, Billy Mercer, Jerry Carey, Bill Watson, Carl Deater, and Blessing Kaetzel.

Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.

Thosedesiringmay make memorial donations in Mrs. Hahn's name to Hospice of Frederick County, P.O. Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702 or the Frederick Animal Shelter, 1823 Rosemont Avenue, Frederick, MD 21702.
