Juanita Ritty Obituary
Juanita graduated from Columbia River High School in Vancouver, WA, and later studied interior design at Lewis and Clark College. She dedicated years to raising her family before launching a fulfilling career alongside her daughter. Together, they co-founded The Owl Nest, a metaphysical store in Frederick, where Juanita found her calling, helping others explore holistic health and earth-based spiritualities. Known for her intuitive wisdom, she was a trusted mentor and friend to many.
A devoted student of the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids, Juanita embraced her spiritual journey, connecting deeply with nature and ancient wisdom. With her husband, Donald, she loved exploring America's landscapes in their motorhome, especially its national parks and historical sites.
A lifelong learner, Juanita pursued astrology and practiced yoga, finding meaning in connecting with others from all walks of life. Her open-hearted spirit enriched those around her, bringing warmth and insight.
Juanita is survived by her husband of 54 years, Donald Richard Ritty; daughter, Tamar (Tammy) Bradley; son-in-law, James Bradley; and granddaughter, Jasmine Bradley. Her family will remember her as a source of love, wisdom, and joy.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 21, at 11:00 AM at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
