Kelley Hoffman Obituary

Kelley Jean Hoffman, 61, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025, at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.

Born January 11, 1964, in Frederick, Kelley was the daughter of Wanda Lee (Hamilton) Main of Libertytown and the late Charles E. Main. She was the devoted wife of Clint Patrick Hoffman for 39 years.

Kelley is survived by her son, Clint E. Hoffman of Frederick; her siblings, James Main, Robert Main and wife Karen, Misty Main, David Main and girlfriend Paula, CB Main and wife Beth, and Andrew Main and wife Nariman. She is also survived by her father- and mother-in-law, Lyle and Margaret Hoffman; sister-in-law, Kim Bertaux and husband Mike, and their daughter Brooke; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Jeffrey Main.

A graduate of Lisbon Christian Academy (now Mount Airy Christian Academy), Kelley was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Westminster, where she was deeply involved with the senior group and taught Awana. Her faith was an essential part of her life, and she was a loving and caring presence in her community.

Kelley had a long career in the insurance industry, processing policies for several companies. She especially enjoyed working on insurance for Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey. Kelley also worked with Frederick Hospital and, most recently, with the Arthritis and Rheumatism Association in Frederick.

Throughout her life, Kelley's main goal was to help others. She took part in two mission trips to Russia through her church and worked with the Global Aid Network to assemble care packages for those in need. Kelley's selflessness extended to her family, friends, and community, always willing to lend a helping hand whenever possible.

Kelley also had a deep love for animals, especially cats, and was actively involved in rescuing them.

A visitation will be held at Hartzler Funeral Home-Libertytown, 11802 Liberty Rd., Frederick on Wednesday, March 12 from 6 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 3200 Ridge Rd., Westminster on Thursday, March 13 at 1 p.m. Pastor Tim Leaman will officiate. Interment will follow in Chapel Cemetery, Libertytown.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kelley's memory may be made to Fetch Thrift Shop (a nonprofit thrift store with a cozy cat adoption), 1818 Rosemont Ave., Frederick, MD 21702.

Prayers to the family. Kelley was a very pleasant lady. I worked with her at insurance. She is in God's arms now free from worry and pain. Rest in peace.
