Kenneth Lucas Obituary
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Willard Smith, his grandparents Annie Louise Crum and Russell and Lucy Williard, and his brother-in-law, Larry Simmons.
He survived by his father Earl Lucas Sr. & Ida Virginia Lucas of Myersville, his brothers and sisters Russell Bolton (Audrey), Alecia Maupin, Earl Lucas Jr, (Dawn), Allen Leroy Lucas (Susan), Ray Lucas, Lucy Simmons, and Vivian Lucas; his nieces and nephews Jay Maupin Jr. Becky Aiken, Earl Lucas III, Josh Nelson, Allen Lucas II, Adam Lucas, Heather Lucas, Carter White and Jonathan Mitts, many great nieces and nephews and his close family friend Tommy Schroyer.
Kenny worked as an auto painter, truck driver, saw miller, farmer and roofer. Kenny was a Jack of all trades.
Kenny enjoyed spending time on the family farm helping his father run the farm, going to auctions, and working on equipment and cars. Kenny was very dedicated to his family and did whatever he could to help them. Kenny was a kind and gentle soul.
Relatives and friends will be received on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Thompson Harman Funeral Home, 31 E Main Street, Middletown, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and on Monday, March 3, 2025 at Grossnickle Church of the Brethren, 11301 Meeting House Road, Myersville from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, at which time a funeral service will be held. Rev. Karen Grossnickle will preside. Interment to follow in Mt. Zion UMC Cemetery, Myersville. Kenneth Lucas
