Kevin Lee Kirkpatrick

1957 - 2016

Mr. Kevin Lee Kirkpatrick, 59, of Frederick died Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Kline Hospice House following a brief illness. He was the husband of Monica Kirkpatrick for 13 years.

Born April 6, 1957 in Washington, he was the son of the late Robert and Harriett Ann (Sommerville) Kirkpatrick.

Kevin worked as a superintendent in the construction field, until his illness prevented him from doing so.

He enjoyed scuba diving, doing yard work, and helping his neighbors whenever needed. Kevin also enjoyed spending time his grandchildren and family, taking rides on his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and watching the Ravens with his football family, The Larrick's.

He is survived by a daughter, Cassie Kirkpatrick (Tony); daughter-in-law, Barbara Kirkpatrick (Corey); grandchildren, Jaylynn, Paulie, Anthony, and Justice; mother-in-law, Mary Keepers; brothers-in-law, Louis Keepers (Khris) and John Henry Keepers; sister-in-law, Rita Caviness (James); and nieces and nephews, Makenzie and Logan Keepers, and Nina and Herbie Matthews.

Kevin will be remembered by special friends, Jeff Friedman, Danny O'Brien (Donna), Julie Harris (William), and Donna Kuzemchak.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two children, Ashley Marie Ramsburg and Joshua Kirkpatrick; father-in-law, John Keepers; and brother-in-law, Alex Keepers.

A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Saint Katherine Drexel Parish, 8428 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, where the family will receive friends following services.

At the request of his family, they ask for those attendee Kevin's service to dress casual and to wear Ravens or Harley Davidson attire if desired.
