Lacie Wivell Obituary

Miss Lacie Ann Wivell, 1, of Stultz Road, Fairfield, Pa., died Sunday, October 23 at her home after a courageous battle with Tay-Sachs Disease.

Born April 8, 2004 in Gettysburg, Pa., she was a daughter of Richard L. and Lisa Wetzel Wivell Jr.

She was a member of St. Anthony's Shrine Parish, Emmitsburg, Md.

Surviving besides her parents are four brothers and sisters, Amanda Wivell of Thurmont, Md., Rikki Wivell of Thurmont, Md., Levi Wivell of Fairfield, Pa., Colby Wivell of Fairfield, Pa.,; maternal grandparents, Robert and Darlene Wetzel of Sabillasville, Md.; and paternal grandparents, Richard and Pat Wivell of Fairfield, Pa.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Dakota Wivell and grandmother, Mary Sanders Wivell.

The Liturgy will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27 from St. Anthony's Shrine Parish, Emmitsburg, Md.

Interment will be in Emmitsburg Memorial Cemetery.

Friends may call from noon - 9 p.m. Wednesday, October 26 at the Skiles Funeral Home, 210 W. Main St., Emmitsburg where the family will receive friends from 7 - 9 p.m. and a Christian Wake Service will be held at 8:30 p.m.
