Linnie Krisman Obituary
Among Linnie's passions, shopping was her favorite, followed by reading, listening to music and going out to eat. In her younger years she cared for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She attended Mt. Hope Christian Church.
Linnie is survived by her daughter, Lou Ann Evy, Damascus, MD; son Dale (Cindy) Krisman, Emporia, KS; sister, Dixie Wardrop, Frederick, MD; sister-in-law, Leona Krisman, Deer Park, MD. Grandchildren include, Crystal (Dale) Crigger, Monrovia, MD; Cindy Eanes and Marlin Holt, Damascus, MD; Jordan Krisman, Emporia, KS; two great granddaughters: Makenzie and Kendra Crigger, and a great grandson, Desmond Holt, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband; sisters, Martha (Marston) Peabody, Winifred (John) Bowers, Virginia (Ted) Neach, Irene (Elmer) Gibson, Joan (Ray) Cupp, Anna (Frank) Cannon; brothers, Elwood (Eileen) DeWitt, Robert (Loretta) DeWitt, William DeWitt, and James (Ruby) DeWitt; brothers-in-law, Red Winters and David Wardrop; and son-in-law, Roger Evy.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 22 from 5 - 8 PM at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd, Mt. Airy. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 23 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the funeral home, Rev. Leon Dodson officiating. The family will receive friends for an hour prior to services, from 10 - 11 AM. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to Mt. Hope Christian Church Building Fund in care of Adele Day, 4324 Lynn Burke Rd., Monrovia, MD 21770.

dale i remember when your mother came grocery shopping at martins and county market. sorry to hear of your loss. may she rest in peace and fly with her new wings. she was always smiling, laughing and loved life. god bless her and sending prayers to family
