Michael Shriner Obituary
Born April 18, 1978 in Gettysburg, PA, Michael was the son of Michael, Sr. and Irma Shriner of Thurmont. He graduated from Catoctin High School in 1996, and worked as a carpenter and later as a superintendent for Buch Construction. Michael loved restoring Ford Mustangs and racing motocross. He was also an avid Redskins fan, and he attended many games.
In addition to his loving parents, Michael is survived by his daughter, Vanessa Shriner; his sister, Jamie Shriner; his grandmother, Mary Lee Shriner; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence Shriner, Ralph King and Lenora King.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 30th from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at the Chapel Mausoleum of Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 U.S. Route 15 N in Frederick, where a funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM. Cremation will take place after the service. Floral tributes are welcome.

Irma and Mike I met you guys when Dawn and Mike lived in that House Trailer. Mike was a good guy and I know he had problems but that doesn't matter we love our kids grown or small unconditional. I'm so sorry for you loss I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I remember goin to aunt irmas house when i was a kid and the first thing id ask was if michael and jamie were home. I looked up to Michael when i was a young kid. He was the one that got me into dirtbikes. One time in 3rd grade i wrote a story about how Michael took me to his buddys house to watch them ride dirtbikes on a track in his backyard. I wish we could have kept in touch. Gonna miss ya Michael.
