Michael Sodos Obituary
He was born July 26, 1942 in NYC. Michael was married for 41 years to Penny Wise Sodos, who passed away in 2008. He was predeceased by his parents, Solomon and Mollie Sodos and his sister Francine Thomas.
He is survived by his children, Nadja Sodos-Wallace (Joseph) and Jonathon (Lisa) and 4 grandchildren, Samantha and Hannah Wallace and Willow and Jasper Sodos. He is also survived by his kid brother, Ronald Sodos, brother-in-law, David Thomas and dear lifelong friend Jerry Armer and Jane Gellert, who was always there for him. Michael loved his grandchildren, his cats, talking to strangers and folk music. He could often be found listening to live music or playing music with the Crestwood Village folk music group, always wearing a Grumpy t-shirt.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Animal Welfare League of Frederick County.
A celebration of Michael's life will be held when it is safe to do so.

Michael was uncommonly kind. Once, at a holiday party, he gave me a bit of aloe plant and explained how to plant it so it would grow. A gentle soul to humans, animals, and plants alike. He will be greatly missed.

I met Michael at the Crestwood Folktime Strummers. Singing with Michael is a great memory! He was very talented and never let anything get in his way to sing ! I will miss seeing him at Frederick Coffee . RIP Michael

Up until a few days before he passed he liked one of my fb post. I never knew him that well, but he was a wonderful fb friend. When ever I did see him over the years, he was always friendly and kind. He surely was a genuine man. I remember him fondly and my deepest condolences to the family and his close friends.
