Nancy Warrenfeltz Obituary

Nancy Louise Warrenfeltz, 81, of Smithsburg, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at her home.

Born on October 10, 1942, in Wolfsville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Mary E. (Delauter) and Merle R. Kline.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Delano R. Warrenfeltz; daughter, Kimberly S. Warrenfeltz; daughter in law, Connie (Kimble) Warrenfeltz; and siblings Howard C. Kline (Jane), Gareth W. Kline (Ellen), Richard M. Kline, George E. Kline (Betty), Maynard L. Kline; Doris L. Reel (Sonny) and Peggy M. Frushour (Boyd).

She is survived by her sister Dorothy J. Harshman; aunt Vera Morgan, sons, Walter L. Warrenfeltz and Gregory P. Warrenfeltz (Melanie); daughter, Sandra K. Stutz; grandchildren, Shafer W. Minnick, Zachary T. Minnick (Amber), Tiffany R. Giles, Samantha J. Stutz, Robbie (Dawn) Shanholtz, Alli (Brendan) Hanna, and Lara Mae Paxton; 10 great-grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as many special friends.

Nancy was employed for many years at the Stationary House in Hagerstown.

Nancy was a lifelong member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Wolfsville.

Nancy loved her family tremendously and some of her happiest times were cooking for and catching up with those she loved most dearly.

Additionally, Nancy often marveled at God's natural beauty and loved tending her own garden and attending flower and garden shows.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 11:00am St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 12704 Wolfsville Rd., Smithsburg, MD 21783 with Pastor Chad Carter officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery, Smithsburg.

The family will receive friends at the church one-hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284, or to a charity of one's choice.
